Featuring her in small jazz combos (with orchestral backing on some tracks), which included pianist Ray Bryant and bassist Will Lee, these recordings sowed the seeds to Aretha's later success with Atlantic Records and her international endorsement as The Queen Of Soul,and one of the greatest singers of the 20th Century.
